The whereabouts of a suspected rapist are unknown.
On Dec. 13, Glasgow Police Department officers reported to T.J. Samson Hospital because of an alleged rape.
According to the citation, the victim told police she received morphine from someone who lives in the same residence as the person who allegedly raped her. Clothing the victim wore during the suspected rape was collected, according to the citation.
After a search warrant was executed on Grand Avenue in Glasgow, morphine was located, but Joe Lopez, the rape suspect, was not there.
Harold L. Shirley, 62, of Glasgow, was arrested Dec.13 by GPD Officer Brandon Fletcher and charged with two counts of first-degree possession of controlled substance, opiates; drug paraphernalia, buy/possess; and prescription of controlled substance not in proper container, first offense, according to the GPD citation.
