Man charged with sex abuse of 4-year old

— A Glasgow man has been charged with the alleged sexual abuse of a 4-year-old female, according to Glasgow Police.
Timothy B. Coffey, 24, of 1638 Oil City Road, was charged Wednesday with first-degree sexual abuse.
Authorities said an unidentified person contacted Social Services after the child told an adult about the alleged abuse. Representatives of the agency then contacted police.
Coffey was questioned about the allegations at the police station. Initially, he denied touching the child inappropriately, but later admitted to touching her genitalia while playing with her, police said.
Coffey was placed under arrest and lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.
Juveniles arrested in separate cases
In other police action, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office arrested two juveniles on Wednesday in two separate cases. Both juveniles were charged with one count each of third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief. The minors were charged in connection with a burglary Nov. 26 at the Wigwam General Store east of Horse Cave and vandalism at Hart County High School on Dec. 19.
The juveniles are being held at a juvenile detention center pending a court date.
KSP searches for Warren County inmate
Kentucky State Police are continuing to search for an inmate who walked away from a work detail at the Warren County Regional Jail on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said 48-year-old Jerry Lee Graham simply walked away from authorities sometime around 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Graham is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is described as approximately 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds.
Graham was last seen wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket and blue jeans, police said. He has several tattoos, including the word “mom” on his upper right arm. He faces charges of escape second-degree.
