ACTION: Magistrates approved the following: the minutes of their Nov. 13 meeting; the second reading of an ordinance to include Circle Drive into the County Road Maintenance System; the 2009 holiday calendar; appointed Dee Tapp to the cemetery board for a two-year term; reappointed Robert Sloan, Jan Duren, Mike Nichols and Terry Martin to the cemetery board; accepted a $73,990 bid for the purchase of a new wheel loader for the County Road Department from Brandeis; application for a spay and neuter grant through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture; an agreement between the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for Rural and Secondary Road Aid, plus a resolution to accept $43,610 in rural secondary funding for road and bridge improvements; and magistrates’ road repair requests.
