A Columbus, Ind., man and a Park City man were arrested Wednesday for theft in Hart County.
According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Department, on Wednesday, Sheriff Boston Hensley and deputy Lanny Jewell received information from the owner of Stanton’s Garage that he was following a vehicle suspected of stealing property from his business.
The vehicle was stopped and stolen property was found inside it, according to the sheriff’s department.
Arrested at the scene were Larry Rowe Jr., 38, of 1719 Maple St., Columbus, Ind. and Jeffrey D. Rowe, 28, of 24617 Louisville Road, Park City.
Both were charged with receiving stolen property more than $300 and theft by unlawful taking more than $300.
Both were lodged in the Hart County Detention Center.
Assisting the Hart County Sheriff’s Department were Horse Cave Police Chief Alan Shirley and Munfordville Police Chief Greg Atwell.
