Most Wanted pair turn themselves in
Barren County’s Most Wanted couple turned themselves into authorities Monday.
David Lewis Mercer Jr. was wanted for theft by unlawful taking over $300, complicity burglary-3rd degree, complicity criminal mischief-1st degree, and persistent felony offender-1st degree.
Allyson Gay Davis was wanted for theft by unlawful taking over $300, complicity burglary, third degree, and complicity criminal mischief, first degree.
The addition of a new name to the list is pending.

Injuries result from collision
Barbara P. Payne, 53, of Glasgow and Karen S. Bowe, 50, of Glasgow were injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday shortly after noon.
According to a Glasgow Police Report, Bowe was traveling east on College Street and had approached the intersection with South Green Street. Payne was traveling west on College Street and had started to make a left turn on South Green Street.
Payne made a left turn into the path of Bowe’s Chevrolet Corsica, causing Bowe to strike the front corner of Payne’s Chevrolet Blazer.
Both were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital due to possible head, chest and arm injuries.
A passenger in Payne’s vehicle, Devin Payne, 1, of Glasgow, was also transported to the emergency room, although he had no apparent injuries.
Officer Darrell Smith investigated and was assisted at the scene by the Glasgow Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
