Crystal F. Scott, 33, of Hardyville was involved in a single-vehicle accident and arrested on several charges Monday night.
According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Department, Scott was northbound on North Jackson Highway when her Ford Explorer crossed the center lane and went off the side of the road. The truck went through a fence and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
Scott and her three children were taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for minor injuries.
Scott was arrested on three counts of wanton endangerment, first degree; driving while intoxicated with a .08 blood alcohol level, first offense; possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and possession of a prescription drug not in the original container, first offense.
Deputy Adam Minor investigated and was the arresting officer. Assisting were the Hiseville VFD and Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
