Police are hoping to have a face for a robbery suspect later today.
Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Capt. Kent Keen said detectives are having bank surveillance tapes enhanced in order to get a clear picture of the suspect.
South Central Bank’s branch on U.S. 31E south of Glasgow was robbed shortly before 9:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said a white male, described as having a medium build and being in his early to mid-20s, entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money.
Police described the man as being about 5’10”, possibly with red hair and freckles.
Keen said detectives went through the bank’s videotapes looking for the best image to have processed. “They have to ... find a good picture of him, then computer enhance it to make it usable,” he said earlier this week.
Keen said detectives hope to have a usable photo later today or early Friday.
