Chris Sligh, an “American Idol” season 6 contestant, will be entertaining fans in Bowling Green Thursday at the Living Hope Baptist Church.
“(I’m glad) I get to come to Bowling Green,” he said in an interview with Christian Family Radio last week.
Sligh said the audience will get a good show.
“We’re not doing the entire new album. We do about a 90-minute set,. We’ll be doing several songs, some that people know,” he said.
Derek Gregory, promotions director for Christian Family Radio, which is presenting the concert, said they are excited to have Sligh in town.
“He contacted us earlier this year to do a show here,” Gregory said. “He’ll be playing some songs from his new CD.”
Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children 12 and younger. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
