A search warrant executed in Hart County on Tuesday led to the discovery of a meth lab.
The search was conducted by Hart County Sheriff Boston Hensley and Deputy Jeff Wilson at 2475 Roseburg Road, 31⁄2 miles west of Cub Run, according to the sheriff’s office.
During the search, a methamphetamine lab, drug paraphernalia and quantities of meth and marijuana were seized, according to the sheriff’s department.
The sheriff’s office listed the paraphernalia as scales, pipes, razor blades and manufacturing components. Reasonable cause was given for executing the search warrant.
Norman James “Honk” Dennis, 53, of Cub Run, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dennis was lodged in the Hart County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Kentucky State Police Trooper Ronnie Reynolds and Munfordville Police Chief Greg Atwell.
