A Barren County grand jury recently reviewed 19 cases after its meeting on May 18.
At its meeting, the grand jury returned 19 felony indictments, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Karen Davis.
An indictment is only one side of a case and does not imply guilt, only that evidence exists for trial proceedings.
The following were indicted:
-Christopher Mark Ferguson, 32, of Glasgow, was indicted for burglary, second degree; theft by unlawful taking over $300; and persistent felony offender, second degree. Ferguson was found to have a prior felony conviction.
-Aaron W. Robertson, 23, of Glasgow, and Tyson M. Dewalt, 21, of Bowling Green, were both indicted for robbery, first degree.
-Robert Lynn Bauer Jr., 28, of Cave City, was indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense; and controlled substance prescription not in original container.
-Daniel B. Depp, 25, of Glasgow, was indicted for trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), first degree, second offense; possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), first degree, second offense; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense; controlled substance prescription not in original container; and persistent felony offender, second degree.
-Steven C. Blankenship, 20, of Glasgow, was indicted for trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), first degree; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense. Depp was found to have a prior felony conviction.
-Lonnie Dayle Freeman, 39, of Glasgow, was indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of anhydrous ammonia in unapproved container with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, first degree; and persistent felony offender, second degree. Freeman has a prior felony conviction.
-Charles R. Odle, 68, of Glasgow, was indicted for assault, second degree; resisting arrest; criminal mischief, second degree; and disorderly conduct.
-Brian James Stephenson, 36, of Glasgow, was indicted for assault, second degree.
-James Allen York, 22, of Smiths Grove, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), first degree, second offense; and resisting arrest.
-Thomas W. Houchens, 21, of Glasgow, was indicted for possession of anhydrous ammonia in unapproved container; intimidating a witness, two counts; terroristic threatening, third degree; possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense; resisting arrest; disorderly conduct; and public intoxication.
-Christopher James Clark, 34, of Glasgow, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), first degree; possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense; no insurance; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substance that impairs one’s driving ability, first offense; and speeding.
