Collision leaves one hurt

One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. 31E and South Fork Road.
Melissa M. Wheeler, 36, of Glasgow, was transported via ambulance to T.J. Samson Community Hospital after complaining of upper back pain, according to a Glasgow Police Department report.
Wheeler was southbound on U.S. 31E in a 2000 Honda Civic. As the vehicle ap-proached the intersection, a 2006 Ford F-150 driven by Phillip K. McCoy, 60, of Glasgow, pulled into Wheeler’s path, police said.
McCoy told police he did not see Wheeler’s vehicle.
GPD Officer Eric Guffey investigated.
