Authorities recovered a stolen ATV over the weekend near an abandoned house on Finney Road. Barren County Sheriff’s deputies discovered a 2005 Honda 350 Rancher ATV inside an outbuilding Sunday afternoon near the vacant house. The four-wheeler was taken from Lakeside Tire and Service Center on Scottsville Road earlier last month, along with a limited edition 2004 Ford F150 Lightning pickup truck, a large assortment of tools and several new Interstate batteries, authorities said.
Investigators have said the burglar or burglars may have driven the ATV from the business after entering the building by breaking out the front glass door. The truck was recovered the day after the burglary on Siddens Road, but neither the tools nor the batteries have been located, according to investigators.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact the Barren County Sheriff’s Department at (270) 651-2771, or to remain anonymous, persons with information about the case are asked to call the tipline at (270) 646-8771.
