Young Mustangs were on the move at West Jones Elementary. Coach Marie Coleman and Coach Katie Welch inspired the school faculty, and students to get active. Throughout the week, activities were planned to help the students make better decisions about diet and exercise for life. “On Wednesday, the main day, everyone walked. We had balloons that marked off a 10th of a mile track in front of the school. We had a great time and the students loved it. Coach Welch was a little tired; she wasn’t used to walking seven miles in one day,” said, Coach Coleman. Fourth grade students “Walking the Track”.
