Ratcliffs to chair LRMA Gala
By Holly Green, LRMA Marketing
The Eastman Memorial Foundation Board of Directors announces Deborah and David Ratcliff have been selected to chair the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art’s annual fund-raising event The Jazz Ball: A Night in New Orleans.
This year, LRMA will celebrate the sights, sounds, and tastes of New Orleans at its annual black-tie Gala on Saturday, December 5. Highlighting the evening will be the Live and Silent Auctions, featuring paintings by some of the region’s best-known artists, trips to exotic locations, exquisite pieces of jewelry, and more.
“We are excited about chairing this year’s Gala, and we can’t wait to celebrate New Orleans,” Gala Chairman Deborah Ratcliff said. “The jazz, the food, and the wonderful New Orleans traditions provide a great backdrop for a Gala that will be lots of fun – and raise lots of money for the Museum.”
In addition to overall Gala Chairmen Deborah and David Ratcliff, the Gala committee includes Live Auction Chairmen Mary Ella and Clay Johnson, Silent Auction Chairmen Pam and Jack Ward, Decorations Chairman Jo Lynn McLeod, Auction Display Chairman Betty Harper, Food and Beverage Chairman Diane Thames, and Preview Party Chairman Katie Sullivan.
LRMA members at the Sponsor ($100) level and above may purchase tickets to The Jazz Ball: A Night in New Orleans. Tickets are $100 each and include an invitation to the Auction Preview Party on Thursday, December 3.
