Be part of ‘Good News’ edition

The Laurel Leader-Call is working on its annual “Good News” edition which will publish Thanksgiving Day.

And of course we want our readers to be involved in your daily newspaper for this very special once-a-year edition. Submit your favorite Thanksgiving or Holiday recipes. Submit a 300 word letter stating why and what you are thankful for. We also are looking for “Good News” story ideas. If you have or know of a feel good local story, let us know about it.

E-mail your recipes to llcnews@gmail.com. If you have a letter expressing your thankfulness or a story idea, e-mail it to editor@laurelleadercall.com. You can also drop off or mail your recipes, letters, and story ideas at our office located at 130 Beacon Street in Laurel.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Nov. 20.
