History

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Daily Times is a member newspaper of CNHI, Community Newspapers Holding Inc., which owns more than 200 newspapers, mostly in the eastern United States.

The newspaper is published six days each week, Monday-Saturday, available in single copy each morning and delivered to subscribers through the U.S. Postal Service. Keith Ponder is publisher and advertising manager and James Brown is editor.

The Glasgow Daily Times is one of the oldest continuing businesses in Kentucky, established in 1865 as the weekly Glasgow Times. The newspaper became a daily publication in 1953.

The offices of the various departments at the newspaper are located at 100 Commerce Drive in Glasgow.

In recent years, the staff of the newspaper has continued its efforts in improving its core product as well as a upgrading the Web site, which can be reached at glasgowdailytimes.com. The newspaper is proud to be a part of the businessfamily of Glasgow-Barren County.
