One local church hopes its message of “grace and hospitality to all” will inspire the community to join in its mission work and efforts of expansion.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Columbia Avenue in Glasgow currently has seating for 61 people in a church that has 63 members, and Vicar Suzanne Barrow said the church houses far more than just its members on a daily basis. Church ministries include a food pantry, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings and support groups for NA families.
“Over 300 people use this church throughout the week,” Barrow said.
