GLASGOW — Southcentral Kentucky-based rock band Black Stone Cherry was recently recognized by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for co-writing the hit country song “Stay” with songwriter Joey Moi.
Black Stone Cherry originally recorded “Stay” for its 2011 album “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.” A cover version recorded by country duo Florida Georgia Line was No. 1 on country charts for four straight weeks.
