CitiFinancial opens office in Glasgow

GLASGOW – CitiFinancial, a financial services company specializing in personal and home equity loans, opened an office in Glasgow last week.

CitiFinancial has been in business in the United States since 1912, with more than $31 billion in receivables and more than 2,200 offices across the United States and Canada.

“The Glasgow branch is an exciting addition for us,” says Harry D. Goff, chairman and CEO of CitiFinancial. “Just like any other company, as we look to expand into new markets, we are careful to find just the right location. Mike Wilson is manager of the new branch, which opened Sept. 14.

Wilson, his wife and four sons, just recently moved to Glasgow. “Already I feel at home and see that Glasgow has a lot to offer my family. In return I want to offer the best service to all customers that walk in our door. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Louisville and most recently worked for CitiFinancial in Bowling Green. He has 12 years experience in consumer finance.

Tonya Emmett, with six years experience in banking/finance, will also be working in the Glasgow office.

Operating hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
