1:15 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Hostetler pleads guilty in death of Brandon Crain

MUNFORDVILLE — Daniel J. Hostetler pleaded guilty Tuesday morning in the death of Brandon Crain.

Hostetler, 20, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence, according to Hart County Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Joe Ballard. The suggested sentence is 13 years incarceration on the manslaughter charge and five years on the tampering with evidence, with the sentences to run concurrently.

Final sentencing will be Oct. 1.
