12:50 p.m. UPDTATE: A body found south of Glasgow near South Fork Road off of Old Davidson Road this morning is that of an adult female, Kentucky State Police Trooper Jonathan Biven  has said.

He added that so far no determination has been made about whether foul play was involved.

Kentucky State Police are handling the investigation and no further information is available.

Mike Houchens with the Barren County Sheriff's Office told Daily Times reporter Amanda Loviza Vickery, "State police is handling everything, so we won't be commenting on anything."

The body was found in a wooded area near Brock Lane, where a subdivision is being developed. The land of the subdivision is adjacent to land that is part of the Barren River Lake Wildlife Management Area, according to a Barren County map, which stretches along Beaver Creek from where it crosses with Ky. 1297 and extends to Barren River Lake.

Brock Lane is a loop of road near the end of Old Davidson Road.
