9:21 MORNING UPDATE: State police search for jail escapee

ALBANY — The Kentucky State Police are attempting to locate 33-year-old Bobby Pillar, of Albany, who escaped from the Clinton County Jail on Monday night around 9 p.m.  Pillar was being treated for a cut in the front of the jail when he assaulted a deputy jailer and fled on foot.

 

Pillar is a 6 foot 3 inch, 220 pound, white male with blue eyes and red hair and was last seen in the city limits of Albany.  He is believed to have been living at a residence on Ky. 1590 in Clinton County and also had a recent address in Pulaski County.  Pillar was serving time for flagrant non-support.  If anyone has any information as to his whereabouts, contact local law enforcement by dialing 911, or by calling the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555.  Information may also be sent via text-a-tip to the Kentucky State Police at 67283.

 

The deputy jailer sustained minor injuries.  Trooper Jason Warinner is investigating the escape.
