BREAKING NEWS: GPD searching for ESB robber

Glasgow police are searching for a man who showed a gun Monday while robbing Edmonton State Bank on North Race Street.

Police were called to the bank at 1300 N. Race St., across the street from T.J. Samson Community Hospital, at about 10:02 a.m., according to Glasgow Police Department Public Affairs Officer Julie Anne Williams. Employees said a thin white man wearing work-type clothing – dirty blue jeans, a light-colored hoodie, plain black ball cap and brown boots – displayed the gun and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Shortly after the robbery, GPD officers and a K-9 unit were seen searching the neighborhood around Adairland Court.
