Red Cross employee arrested on stalking charges

GLASGOW — An employee of Red Cross Elementary was arrested on stalking charges Wednesday morning.

Connie Williams, 46, was served with an arrest warrant from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office after not appearing at the jail on Tuesday to turn herself in on charges of impersonating a peace officer and second-degree stalking. She is also listed under the alias Connie Bowles.

She turned herself in Wednesday.

Impersonating a peace officer is a class D felony and the stalking charge is a misdemeanor.

Williams has been released on $1,500 unsecured bond from the Barren County Detention Center.
