6:25 EVENING UPDATE: Glasgow, Park City and Cave City reschedule trick or treat

The City of Glasgow has changed its official time for trick-or-treating in observance of Halloween.

Because of numerous calls to City Hall and even some to 911 from residents concerned about a stormy weather forecast, Mayor Rhonda Riherd Trautman, after consulting with other officials, decided to change the time to 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

Trautman said this does not mean that other organizations and churches in Glasgow that had events indoors or such as trunk or treats scheduled will change their times as well. She said she encourages the people organizing those to use their own discretion in whether to reschedule.

Park City and Cave City have rescheduled from Thursday to Friday as well, but are keeping the same hours.

Park City's is from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Cave City's is from 5 to 7 p.m.

As of 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, Edmonton and Tompkinsville have NOT rescheduled.
