3:05 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Prosecution rests in BCSO trial

BOWLING GREEN — The prosecution rested its case after the testimonies of FBI agents Mike Brown and Michael Shafer Tuesday morning in the trial against Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton, deputy Aaron Bennett and drug task force Eric Guffey.

All three defense attorneys were denied motions for judgment by Judge Joseph H. McKinley Jr.

The first witness called by the defense Tuesday afternoon was drug task force detective Ron Lafferty.
