IN MINUTES: Barren County Fiscal Court meeting, Feb. 18, 2014


GLASGOW — DISCUSSION: James Nelson, chairman of the Barren County Ethics Commission, led a brief discussion on a few issues that need to be addressed with the updating of the county Code of Ethics. No action was taken, and Nelson said he would be scheduling a work session with the other commissionmembers soon.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Rolling Thunder chili supper starting at 4 p.m. and auction at 6 p.m. March 1 at National Guard Armory in Glasgow. Barren County Extension Homemakers Bean Soup Luncheon is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7 at the Barren County extension service office.

ATTENDANCE: Magistrate Gary Gillon was absent due to a familymember’s urgent healthmatter.
