Army Pfc. Keith Crabtree, in wheelchair, enjoys the antics during a womanless beauty pageant that was part of a benefit for him and his family Saturday at North Jackson Elementary School to help defray travel expenses while he is recovering from injuries he suffered in a live-ammunition training exercise in Texas. Crabtree and his mother, April London, holding his arm, had surprised even family members by flying in from Texas on Friday, and very few people knew he would be at the event, at which he said he laughed until he cried.
