The image of Poul Kudryk with Olympic Construction of Nicholasville was caught between the rungs of a ladder Tuesday. Kudryk was installing wall brackets at the new Horse Cave fire station near the outskirts of Horse Cave on East Main Street. The city of Horse Cave received a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant to help fund the construction of the new fire house, which is being built by Rex Shippman Inc. of Dexter, Mo. The total cost of the project is $996,565. Work on the fire house began in August. Gina Kinslow / Glasgow Daily Times
