Dr. Loretta Murrey, associate professor of English at Western Kentucky University, read excerpts from her book, “A Guest on Earth: The Life and Poetry of Joy Bale Boone, Kentucky Poet Laurette 1997-1999” Tuesday afternoon at WKU’s Glasgow Regional Center along with Boone’s eldest child, Shelby Bale, and Boone’s granddaughter, Vanessa Vann Campbell.
