Don Ring holds a pepper grinder he is making. He plans to donate it to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Southcentral Kentucky so it can be auctioned at the organization's upcoming fundraiser, Spirits in the Cave, in mid-August in Bowling Green. Behind is his wife, Gail, who is an avid quilter. Both volunteer for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and help with the Bowl for Kids Sake in Glasgow. Gina Kinslow / Glasgow Daily Times
