The Rev. Mike Padgett, chairman of Community Relief Fund's board of directors, demonstrates how a drop-down panel allows CRF staff members or volunteers to pass bags of food from the pantry to the people the organization serves. A small opening at the bottom of the glass window higher up allows for the passing of paper and smaller items. The newly constructed wall divides the large room into a foyer/waiting area and office space at the former E.B. Terry Elementary School behind Columbia Avenue Church of Christ, where CRF has just relocated. Melinda J. Overstreet / Glasgow Daily Times
