Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes speaks to a crowd of about 60 Democrats in support of her run for U.S. Senator this fall. Grimes stood in front of the Barren County Courthouse steps Friday evening outlining the key points of her campaign for Kentuckians, and against Ky. Senator Mitch McConnell. "It's exciting to be back here, to be among friends," Grimes said. "I stand here today because Barren County showed up." Grimes' stop in Glasgow yesterday was among eight stops, and soon after she headed to Bowling Green. Bobbie Hayse / Glasgow Daily Times
