1206 Margie Patton puppy 4.jpg

Margie Patton, president of the Barren River Animal Welfare Association, holds a puppy she has been calling Mighty Moe. The puppy was the lone survivor of a litter of puppies, but the mother dog would not care for him. Another dog, a lab retriever mix, who was brought to the Glasgow-Barren County Animal Shelter along with four newborn puppies, accepted Mighty Moe as one of her own.
