BCSO: Ice responsible for wrecks

GLASGOW — Mike Houchens, public information officer for the Barren County Sheriff's Office, said there were two non-injury wrecks Friday morning that were "directly caused by ice."

About 7:30 a.m., Houchens said, two vehicles slid into each other on Siddens Road, close to the Ky. 1297 intersection. About 8:50 a.m., a vehicle on New Bowling Green Road slid past a stop sign and was struck on the side by a vehicle traveling on Bon Ayr Road in Park City, he said.
