Employees with Olympic Construction of Nicholasville install wall brackets at the new Horse Cave fire station Tuesday. The new fire station is on the outskirts of Horse Cave on East Main Street. The city of Horse Cave received a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant to help fund the construction of the fire station. The total cost of the project is $996,565. The fire station is being built by Rex Shippman Inc. of Dexter, Mo. Work on the new fire station began in August. Gina Kinslow / Glasgow Daily Times
