The Kentucky Department of Highways has placed larger stop signs and moved the white lines marking where vehicles should stop in an effort to improve safety on Franks Mill Road at Veterans Outer Loop. This view, from the driver's side of a car northbound on Franks Mill looking east, is from behind the newly positioned stop strip and allows a better view past the guard rail along the loop, than the previous location, which was a car length farther back from the intersection.
