Published August 25, 2008 11:17 am - CPC Commodities LLC is hosting a fall field day Thursday, Sept. 11, at the CPC grounds on Hwy. 100 in Fountain Run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Field day planned Special report Special to the Daily Times CPC Commodities LLC is hosting a fall field day Thursday, Sept. 11, at the CPC grounds on Hwy. 100 in Fountain Run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The day will feature beef and dairy feed program bookings and commodity contracting. Feed nutritionists will be on hand. There will be a full line of exhibitors and demonstrations. Guest speaker will be Andy Groseta, NCBA president, and others who will speak on beef and dairy nutrition. Special field day prices will be available and door prizes will be given away. Complimentary rib eye steak sandwich plates will be available. Field day participants should take Hwy. 31E to the intersection of Hwy. 87 (across from Barren River State Park). Go to the 4-way stop and turn right at 100W. The grounds are two miles out on the left. For more information, call (888) 618-6455.
